Framewiser

Privacy Policy

Last updated August 27, 2026. This policy explains the information Framewiser handles today and how we would tell you about any future changes.

Our approach

Framewiser is a photography coaching camera app. Our goal is to keep camera and scene analysis on your device wherever practical. We do not sell personal information.

Information the app uses today

Framewiser needs permission to access your device camera to show a live preview and provide real-time photography guidance. Camera frames are processed on your device for that purpose.

We do not currently upload, store, or share your live camera frames or photos through Framewiser. Photos you choose to capture or save are handled by your device and the photo-library permissions you grant. Framewiser does not create a cloud photo library.

On-device processing

Framewiser is designed to use Apple technologies such as AVFoundation and Vision for camera and scene processing. This lets guidance such as composition, horizon, and framing remain close to the camera experience, without sending the live scene to our servers.

Information we do not currently collect

The current Framewiser website and planned app experience do not use third-party advertising trackers. We do not currently collect analytics, crash reports, account profile data, precise location data, voice recordings, or payment card details.

Apple may independently process information under its own terms when you download an app, make an App Store purchase, or use Apple services. Framewiser does not receive your payment card number.

Potential future features

We may later offer advanced cloud-based photo critique, optional voice guidance, or subscription features. These are not current data practices.

If a future feature requires sending a photo, audio, or other data off your device, we will explain what is sent, why it is needed, who processes it, and how long it is retained before you choose to use that feature. We will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.

Subscriptions and payments

If Framewiser Pro becomes available, purchases and subscription management will be handled through Apple’s App Store and StoreKit. Apple provides purchase records and billing support under its own privacy policy. We do not process or store payment card information.

Retention and deletion

Because Framewiser does not currently upload or keep your camera frames or photos, there is no Framewiser server copy for us to retain or delete. You can delete photos saved to your device using the Photos app.

If we introduce an account or cloud feature in the future, we will publish clear instructions for accessing and deleting the associated data.

Your choices and rights

You can change camera and photo-library permissions at any time in iOS Settings. Depending on where you live, privacy law may give you rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about personal data. If we begin collecting personal data that is subject to these rights, we will provide a way to make those requests.

Children’s privacy

Framewiser is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can address the request.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Framewiser evolves. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes to how we handle personal information will be communicated through an appropriate notice before they take effect, where required.
